Spotted Tail Outdoors has upgraded its Reservations Management System(RMS).
Designer of the web-based package, Captain Andy Parker, has been working on the blackout dates feature based on feedback from customers.
He said: “Previously a blackout date was an all or nothing deal. Now guides can log in and mark off either a full day or partial day. Users can select the appropriate date range or time slot, click submit and it is on the calendar.
“We have also implemented a way to enter notes about blackout dates. The feature is especially useful for managing your guide schedule along with any personal activities or reminders,” added Parker. “Notes are displayed below the calendar when a day is clicked off.”
The RMS Guide Notes are now fully operational and give guides the ability to enter notes about a booking, including trip reports, payment details and notes about the client.
Guides can enter notes from either the main site or their mobile device so the information is where you want it when you need it.
Some new variables have been added to the confirmation email template (Subscription page) so the user can customise confirmation emails without having to type a new message each time you book a trip.
Parker explained: “You just set up the template using the desired variables to feed information – like client names and trip details – and then all you have to do is hit send once you book a new trip.”
Information that is reported on the invoices has also been updated if you use these to collect payments or give to clients as receipts.
